10 things to see in Stuttgart
A city surrounded by greenery, parks, museums and new architecture in contrast with historical buildings and local tradition.
This is stuttgart for short, a city in germany among the most coveted to live. A city where you can find everything and stay in perfect tranquility.
My mini tour started a bit outside the center where I stayed in a hotel in 3 very comfortable stars. As soon as I left I found a 100 meters the nice yellow metro that accompanied me to the city center in just 15 minutes.
The city is small and can be easily explored on foot…
I show you the ten things to see in Stuttgart in a weekend, absolutely not to be missed:
- Go up to the Killesbergturm, is located in the Killesberg park one of the most beautiful parks in the city. A tower of approx 40 meters that moves, from where to admire a beautiful panorama.
- Climb the TV Tower from where you can admire the entire view of the city. The cost is 7 euro. You go up with the elevator and inside you will find a café with a panoramic terrace.
- Get lost in the shopping street Koenigstrasse
4. Go to the main square in stuttgart: Schlossplatz. An immense beautiful square. Where you will find a unique atmosphere of liveliness and joie de vivre especially during the Christmas period or during the holiday season. Music, shows, good food.
5. Take a break to eat at the Market Hall, the covered market in Stuttgart. A beautiful Art Nouveau building where you will find food and wine excellences from all over the world.
6. Visit the Kunst Museum on the main square. The museum of contemporary art. A large glass cube with a restaurant on the top floor and a view of the city.
