Viaggio in provenza: I luoghi più belli
Uno degli itinerari di più spettacolare bellezza che abbia fatto in francia fino ad ora!!! E’ durato una settimana, abbiamo viaggiato in moto macinando tantissimi km con il nostro gs 1200 ed è stata un’esperienza davvero ricca!
Se state dunque organizzando un viaggio in provenza, ecco i luoghi più belli che ho visitato! Da non perdere assolutamente !
Partendo da Port Grimaud, la piccola venezia francese, sono passata per saint tropez, fermandomi alla spiaggia di thaiti. Ho soggiornato a Hyeres cuore medievale, fra case antiche e stradine, godendo del meraviglioso paesaggio naturale della penisola di Giens, da dove sono partita per le isle Porquerolles. Ho fatto visita agli unici e inconfondibili campi di lavanda di Valensole, vicini di casa ad un altro spettacolare panorama naturale: le gole del Verdon. E sempre da Hyeres sono arrivata in un’ora nel fantastico porto di Marsiglia, passando per Cassis e inoltrandomi nelle acque cristalline del mare delle Calanques….
Hyeres
Ho alloggiato nell’antica perla della città di hyeres, un borgo medievale antico, ricco di bellezza e fascino ma dove non troverete assolutamente la mondanità di Cannes o di Saint Tropez . Un grande centro città dov’è presente una zona commerciale davvero completa (consigliato il moderno centro commerciale all’aperto L’avenue 83 in zona La garde), un aeroporto, un importante porto turistico, e sopratutto un luogo perfetto dove alloggiare appunto per la centralità che ti permette di girare e ammirare le innumerevoli bellezze che circondano questo lembo di costa della francia. Qui passeggiando tra vicoli e stradine dal fascino antico, troverete la torre dei Templari, il castello, la Collegiale gotica di Saint-Paul, la Chiesa di Saint-Louis ma sopratutto troverete una sorte di mistero, perchè sembra di essere catapultati in un luogo dove il tempo si è fermato, dove la popolazione sembra nascosta, dove vedi passeggiare quell’ anziano signore con tanto di bastone e quell’aria da vecchio saggio del paese che sembra saper bene i segreti di questa antica città balneare.
Penisola di Giens
Hyeres è collegata alla meravigliosa Penisola di Giens, un luogo magico collegato al continente da un doppio cordone sabbioso che racchiude le vecchie saline e lo stagno dei Pesquiers, i famosi fenicotteri rosa. Un vero monumento alla natura con un habitat di più di 260 specie di uccelli, da vedere assolutamente! Ad Ovest la celebre spiaggia di Almanarre, più di 4 km per i fan di surf e kitesurf. E’ un luogo fantastico per chi ama camminare, il sentiero dei doganieri, per scoprire scorci di natura intatta fra cielo e mare e piccoli porticcioli di pesca. Un luogo perfetto per andare in bicicletta, e per ammirare i suoi splendidi tramonti in questo territorio naturale che richiama tanto le camargue.
A giens, piccola stazione balneare, dal castello si possono fare foto straordinarie della penisola grazie allo splendido panorama mozzafiato, consigliatissimo al tramonto. Vi consiglio ancora il giro a piedi della penisola che parte dal porto della Mandrague fino alla spiaggia della Badine: 18 km di natura meravigliosa!

Port grimaud
Un piccolo gioiello nascosto tra le mura, un porticciolo che nasconde tante casette basse colorate e le sue innumerevoli imbarcazioni che si protendono verso il mare e la sua meravigliosa spiaggia..
Un luogo di cui ti innamori, un luogo dove vorrai tornare.
Un luogo che ti stupisce per il mare, la spiaggia grande di sabbia, i suoi bar, locali e queste mura e casette colorate che incorniciano il tutto.. Da non perdere assolutamente la piccola venezia francese!
Saint-tropez e le spiaggie
Non credo ci sia bisogno di essere presentata! Chi non la conosce?! Fu la divina Brigitte a farla diventare il tempio dei Vip di tutto il mondo e l’emblema stesso della mondanità di stile francese.
Il porto per molto tempo è stato il centro economico del villaggio, ma ora è riservato alla navigazione. Esso è un luogo di passeggiata per ammirare i bellissimi yacht, ma anche per godere dei numerosi eventi nautici. I suoi locali e ristoranti chic , le sue vie, le sue boutique e negozi di alta moda!
Ma non solo… perchè la sua costa nella zona di Ramatuelle conserva le spiaggie più belle della costa francese!!!
La spiaggia di THAITI per esempio è stupenda!
Isole Porquerolles
Dalla penisola di Giens esattamente dal paesino di La Tour Fondue, si possono raggiungere le isole d’Hyeres: Porquerolles, Port-Cros e isola del Levante.
Sull’isola Porquerolles non ci sono auto né veicoli a motore. Si viaggia solo a piedi o in bici che si può portare in traghetto o affittare sul posto per attraversare l’isola e girare tutte le sue spiaggie più belle. Al centro un paesino con bar, ristoranti, negozi e la sua piazza centrale.
Da non perdere assolutamente la spiaggia di Notre dame! Un paradiso per gli occhi! Un mare meraviglioso con fondale basso per un pezzo, acqua trasparente e verde! Stupenda!
Ma sono tutte belle le spiaggie qui!
Consigliate da vedere anche la spiaggia della Courtade di Porquerolles, la più grande spiaggia di sabbia dell’isola e la più facilmente accessibile, situata in prossimità del Porto di Porquerolles. Poi c’è Plage d’Argent e la spiaggia nera del Langoustier che si trova nella zona sud ovest dell’isola di Porquerolles. Ma il bello sarà, cercarle tutte e scoprirne di nuove….
L’isola di Port-Cros deve il suo nome ad un piccolo porto a forma di croce. L’isola venne donata al governo francese dalla sua ultima proprietaria, per costituirvi un parco nazionale.
L’isola du Levant è divisa fra la marina militare, zona inaccessibile, e il villaggio naturista di Héliopolis. Il paese comprende una piazzetta, un ufficio postale, un centro informazioni, i caffé e gli hotel. La costa offre alcune calette e due spiagge, Plage Les Grottes (dove è obbligatorio il naturismo) e Plage de Sable Levant.
Campi di lavanda
Era una vita che desideravo assistere a questa meraviglia della natura!!!! Che emozione!
Infiniti campi di lavanda e campi di girasole! Stiamo parlando di Valensole, nota località dove tutti gli anni tra il 15 giugno e il 15 luglio ma in realtà li troverete fino ad agosto, potrete assistere al meraviglioso spettacolo della fioritura della Lavanda e raccoglierla!
Appena arrivati sembrerà di trovarvi in un set di fotografi impazziti, di ogni nazionalità ed età.
Il momento migliore che consiglio per scattare foto bellissime è all’alba e al tramonto!! Ancor meglio se dietro prendete come punto di riferimento il famoso albero.
Curiosità? sapevate che è pieno di api??mai viste tante api in vita mia ma non pungono state tranquilli!!
Consigliato un giro nel caratteristico paesino di Valensole e come non visitare, vista la vicinanza le meravigliose Gole del Verdon un luogo unico con le sue acque verde smeraldo!
Ma se volete un itinerario ancora più bello e ricco, ecco i punti di riferimento:
Cavaillon – Coustellet – Bonnieux – Buoux – Les Agnels – Apt – Saignon – Auribeau – Castellet Sault – Lagarde d’Apt – Le Chateau du Bois en Provence – Viens. Dopo essere partiti da Cavaillon ci si dirige verso Coustellet dove si può visitare il Museo della Lavanda: raccolta di immagini fisse, video sulle tecniche per la raccolta e distillazione, vendita diretta oli essenziali e cosmesi naturale. Da non perdere il mercato locale la domenica mattina. Da non perdere l’Abbazia di Sénanque o abbazia di Nostra Signora di Sénanque è un’abbazia cistercense sita a pochi chilometri dal centro urbano di Gordes
Marsiglia
Devo essere sincera, tutti la etichettano nel mondo come una città pericolosa che mi ha sempre portata ad escluderla dai miei itinerari in Francia, ma questa volta avevo proprio voglia di vederla ed ecco infatti che è stata invece una piacevole scoperta !
Il simbolo di Marsiglia è Notre Dame de la Garde, chiesa arroccata sulla collina più alta e sormontata da una grande statua in oro della Santissima Vergine Maria con in braccio suo figlio che benedice la città e il porto, come tutti i visitatori. Lo spettacolo non è solo dall’alto della sua collina ma anche dalla città perchè la basilica può essere osservata da qualsiasi parte della metropoli….
Quando pensi ad unvero porto di mare, non puoi pensare ad un altra città che questa!!! La bellezza di trovarsi in pieno Port Vieux e ammirare la sua gente, le sue barche, i suoi pittoreschi banchi del pesce… sentire il vento tra i capelli e perdersi in mezzo alla gente locale…
Da qui proseguite fino alla Cattedrale di Marsiglia, da ammirare fuori e dentro ! bellissima! e dopo di che proseguite per le Panier, che si trova proprio li vicino.
Di marsiglia ho amato tanto il Quartiere le Panier, un labirinto di stradine e vicoli con i suoi murales colorati, con le sue casette strette e colorate i balconi fiorati, i panni stesi, la gente che si fa sentire, il profumo di cucina francese, i suoi locali e ristoranti, le sue botteghe. Qui incroci tante persone e tante storie…. Una tappa imperdibile a marsiglia!
Ultimo giro è stato per le vie della città con i suoi negozi, i suoi corsi e le sue piazze.
Cassis
Cassis è un piccolo borgo di pescatori di quasi 8.000 abitanti della Provenza. Si trova a 20 chilometri da Marsiglia e dalle altre rinomate località balneari. Poco frequentato dal turismo di massa, è l’ideale per chi è alla ricerca di un angolo autentico e suggestivo di costa provenzale. Cassis meta ideale per le sue meraviglie naturalistiche e le sue strade panoramiche.
Parco nazionale delle Calanques
Le calanques… Come descrivere la bellezza paesaggistica e le sfumature del mare…. di questi luoghi!!!

Le Calanques du Sormiou a ridosso di Marsiglia
Dopo una strada a strapiombo sul mare percorribile a piedi, in auto e in moto con un paesaggio naturale stupendo e una vista sulla spiaggia e sul mare dall’alto incredibili si giunge a questa spiaggia che vi lascio commentare dalle foto. Unica cosa preparatevi perchè l’acqua è gelata! però merita perché è un luogo paradisiaco!!!
E le Calanque de Port-Miou, de Port Pin e d’Eu Vau a ridosso di Cassis.[:en]

TRAVEL IN PROVENCE: THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES
One of the most spectacular itineraries that I have done in France up to now !!! It lasted a week, we traveled by motorbike grinding many miles with our 1200 gs and it was a really rich experience!
So if you are planning a trip to provence , here are the most beautiful places I have visited! Do not miss it at all!
Starting from Port Grimaud , the little French Venice, I went to Saint Tropez , stopping at thaiti beach. I stayed in Hyeres medieval heart, between ancient houses and narrow streets, enjoying the wonderful natural landscape of the Giens peninsula , from where I left for the Porquerolles islands . I visited the unique and unmistakable lavender fields of Valensole , neighbors to another spectacular natural landscape: the Verdon gorges . And always from Hyeres I arrived in an hour in the fantastic port of Marseille , passing through Cassis and passing through the crystal clear waters of the Calanques sea ….
Hyeres
I stayed in the ancient pearl of the city of hyeres, an ancient medieval village, full of beauty and charm but where you will not find absolutely the worldliness of Cannes or Saint Tropez. A large city center where there is a very complete shopping area (recommended the modern outdoor shopping center Avenue 83 in La garde), an airport, an important marina, and above all a perfect place to stay just for the centrality that allows you to turn and admire the countless beauties that surround this strip of the coast of France. Here, strolling through alleys and narrow streets with ancient charm, you will find the tower of the Templars, the castle, the Gothic collegiate of Saint-Paul, the Church of Saint-Louis but above all you will find a sort of mystery, because it seems to be catapulted into a place where time has stopped, where the population seems to be hidden, where you can see that old gentleman with a stick and that old wise man of the village who seems to know the secrets of this ancient seaside town.
Giens Peninsula
Hyeres is connected to the wonderful Giens Peninsula, a magical place connected to the continent by a double sandy cord that contains the old salt pans and the pond of the Pesquiers, the famous pink flamingos.A true monument to nature with a habitat of more than 260 species of birds, to be seen absolutely! To the west the famous beach of Almanarre, more than 4 km for fans of surfing and kitesurfing. It is a fantastic place for those who love walking, the path of customs officers, to discover glimpses of intact nature between sky and sea and small fishing ports. A perfect place to ride a bike, and to admire its beautiful sunsets in this natural area that attracts so much the Camargue.
In Giens, a small seaside resort, from the castle you can take extraordinary photos of the peninsula thanks to the breathtaking panorama, highly recommended at sunset. I still recommend the walking tour of the peninsula that starts from the Mandrague port to the Badine beach: 18 km of wonderful nature!

A small jewel hidden within the walls, a small port that hides many colorful low houses and its countless boats that stretch out towards the sea and its wonderful beach ..
A place you fall in love with, a place where you’ll want to come back.
A place that amazes you by the sea, the large sandy beach, its bars, bars and walls and colorful houses that frame everything .. Do not miss the little French Venice!
Saint-tropez and the beaches
I do not think there is need to be presented! Who does not know it ?! It was the divine Brigitte that made it the temple of VIPs all over the world and the very emblem of the French style worldliness.
The port for a long time was the economic center of the village, but now it is reserved for navigation. It is a place to walk to admire the beautiful yachts, but also to enjoy the many nautical events. Its bars and chic restaurants, its streets, its boutiques and high fashion shops!
But not only … because its coastline in the area of Ramatuelle preserves the most beautiful beaches of the French coast !!!

Porquerolles Islands
From the peninsula of Giens, exactly from the village of La Tour Fondue , you can reach the islands of Hyeres : Porquerolles, Port-Cros and the island of the Levant.
There are no cars or motor vehicles on the Porquerolles Island. You only travel on foot or by bike that you can take by ferry or rent on the spot to cross the island and turn all its most beautiful beaches. At the center of a village with bars, restaurants, shops and its central square.
Do not miss the Notre dame beach ! A paradise for the eyes! A wonderful sea with shallow water for a piece, transparent and green water! Wonderful!
But the beaches are all beautiful here!
Also recommended to see the Courtade de Porquerolles beach, the largest sand beach on the island and the most easily accessible, located near the Port of Porquerolles. Then there is Plage d’Argent and the black beach of Langoustier which is located in the southwest area of the island of Porquerolles. But the beauty will be, looking for them all and discovering new ones …
The island of Port-Cros owes its name to a small cross-shaped port. The island was donated to the French government by its last owner, to constitute a national park.
The island of Levant is divided between the navy, an inaccessible area, and the naturist village of Héliopolis. The village includes a small square, a post office, an information center, cafes and hotels. The coast offers some coves and two beaches, Plage Les Grottes (where naturism is obligatory) and Plage de Sable Levant.
Lavender fields
It was a life that I wanted to witness this wonder of nature !!!! What an emotion!
Endless fields of lavender and sunflower fields! We are talking about Valensole, a famous place where every year between June 15th and July 15th but in reality you will find them until August, you can watch the wonderful show of the Lavender blooming and collect it!
As soon as you arrive, you will seem to find yourself in a set of crazy photographers, of all nationalities and ages.
The best time I recommend to take beautiful pictures is at sunrise and sunset !! Even better if you take the famous tree as a reference point behind.
Curiosity? did you know that it is full of bees ?? never seen so many bees in my life but do not bite be quiet !!
Recommended a ride in the quaint village of Valensole and how not to visit, given the proximity of the wonderful Gorges of Verdon a unique place with its emerald green waters!

Marseilles
I must be honest, everyone labeled it in the world as a dangerous city that has always led me to exclude it from my itineraries in France, but this time I really wanted to see it and here in fact it was instead a pleasant discovery!
The symbol of Marseille is Notre Dame de la Garde , a church perched on the highest hill and surmounted by a large gold statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary with her son in her arms who blesses the city and the harbor, like all visitors. The show is not only from the top of its hill but also from the city because the basilica can be observed from any part of the metropolis …
When you think of a sea port, you can not think of another city that this !!! The beauty of being in the middle of Port Vieux and admiring its people, its boats, its picturesque shoals of fish … feel the wind in your hair and get lost among the local people …
From here continue to the Cathedral of Marseille , to admire outside and inside! gorgeous! and then continue on to the Paniers, which is just nearby.
I loved the district of le Panier , a maze of narrow streets and alleyways with its colorful murals, with its narrow houses and colorful flowered balconies, the hanging clothes, the people who make you feel, the smell of French cuisine, its premises and restaurants, its shops. Here you cross many people and many stories …. An unmissable stop in Marseille!
Last lap was the streets of the city with its shops, its courses and its squares.
Cassis
Cassis is a small fishing village of almost 8,000 inhabitants of Provence. It is 20 kilometers from Marseille and other popular seaside resorts. Little frequented by mass tourism, it is ideal for those looking for an authentic and suggestive corner of the Provencal coast. Cassis ideal destination for its natural wonders and its scenic roads.

Le Calanques du Sormiou close to Marseille
After a road overhanging the sea on foot, by car and motorbike with a beautiful natural landscape and a view of the beach and the sea from above incredible you get to this beach that I leave you commenting from the photos. Only thing get ready because the water is frozen! but it deserves because it is a heavenly place !!!
And the Calanque de Port-Miou, de Port Pin and d’Eu Vau close to Cassis.
