LA CORSICA è soprannominata l’isle de beauty. Facile intuirne il motivo, infatti una volta scoperta, sentirai il bisogno di ritornarci spesso, per una vacanza all’insegna del bel mare e del relax.

Quello che più colpisce, a differenza di altre isole europee, sta nella differenza dei colori della natura. Qui assumono una tonalità più decisa e accesa. Il mare non è mai di un solo colore, anche nelle giornate più grigie riuscirai ad ammirarne perfettamente le diverse sfumature.

L’isola si può raggiungere in aereo tramite l’aeroporto di Figari Sud Corse, quello di Calvi Sainte-Catherine oppure quello di Bastia Poretta Corsica. In nave è raggiungibile tramite i collegamenti con Bastia, mentre con Calvi solo in alcuni giorni della settimana. I costi, prenotando in giusto anticipo vi permetteranno di viaggiare con cabina e mezzo proprio  a prezzi relativamente bassi rispetto ad altre destinazioni.

Altrimenti se scegliete di rimanere nel luogo prescelto basterà un quad o motorino.

Il territorio di quest’isola si divide in zone completamente diverse una dall’altra, forse anche per questo attrae l’idea di un viaggio di questo tipo. Scoprire luoghi sempre nuovi rende la vacanza elettrizzante e mai noiosa.

Il paesaggio è prevalentemente montuoso. La parte a nord ovest è quella più rocciosa, quella a nord est assolutamente più pianeggiante. Al sud troverete spiagge di sabbia bellissime alcune caratterizzate da alte scogliere bianche tipiche di bonifacio. Quest’ultima zona è quella più frequentata dal turismo per la presenza di spiaggie dai toni caraibici.

Le strade in Corsica sono bellissime, larghe e perfette per i motociclisti. Donano dei panorami meravigliosi che in moto puoi apprezzare ancora di più. Le uniche strade tortuose che troverete sono in corrispondenza di spiaggie più nascoste e ancora selvaggie dove potrete trovare più difficoltà nel raggiungerle.

Un riassunto dei luoghi più belli da vedere da nord a sud

Al nord da non perdere assolutamente:

• Cap Corse, è il “dito” dell’isola e presenta un tratto molto selvaggio, una penisola stretta e lunga con  pittoreschi borghi antichi.

• Calvi, luogo natio di Cristoforo Colombo caratterizzata per la parte alta da una vecchia fortezza militare in cui è racchiusa “la cittadella”, un labirinto di stradine di pietra ricche di ristoranti, locali, negozi tipici corsi e meravigliose vedute sul golfo. Nella zona più bassa troverete il nuovo centro cittadino e il porto con ristoranti e cocktail music bar.

• Ille Rousse,  deliziosa cittadina francese, con un bellissimo centro cittadino e mare bellissimo. Collegata a Calvi tramite un simpatico trenino che ferma a tutte le spiaggie presenti sulla tratta.

• Saint-Florent, una delle destinazioni più chic dell’isola, chiamata  la piccola Saint-tropez, nelle vicinanze diverse spiaggie di sabbia.

Le spiaggie più belle del nord:

• La saleccia è una meravigliosa spiaggia caraibica. Raggiungibile affittando un 4×4 o un calesse, attraversando il Desert des Agriates. Altrimenti prendendo un battello da Saint Florent oppure ancora raggiungendo la vicina spiaggia di loto e percorrendo il sentiero che vi permetterà di arrivarci a piedi. Sulla spiaggia non c’è nessuna struttura, portate con voi cibi e bevande.

• Algaiola, spiaggia lunga, il mare di un colore verde sfumato. A ridosso della spiaggia il delizioso paesino che la incornicia. Si trova tra Calvi e Ille Rousse.

• Bodri, tra Calvi e Ille Rousse è una splendida spiaggia di sabbia dal mare verde smeraldo.

• Ghjunchitu, si raggiunge dalla vicina Bodri con un sentiero panoramico spettacolare sulla spiaggia e sul mare, oppure dal vicino parcheggio custodito. Presenza di bar.

• Ostriconi, si trova dopo Ille Rousse. E’ una spiaggia soggetta al vento, quindi da preferire nelle giornate più tranquille. Il percorso per raggiungere la spiaggia è spettacolare. La spiaggia è lunghissima e di sabbia.

• Golfo della Revellata, si trova ad ovest della Cittadina di Calvi, prendendo la D81B in direzione Ajaccio. La strada è stretta, e per la sua particolarità e altezza vi lascerà un ricordo emozionale per molto tempo. La vista dall’alto del golfo è unica, la spiaggia è piccola ma stupenda, il sentiero in vettura un pò difficile.

Ad ovest dell’isola da non perdere:

• Ajaccio, di orgine genovese, capoluogo culturale della corsica. La città nativa di Napoleone Bonaparte, che si sviluppa a ferro di cavallo attorno al piccolo golfo.

• Isole sanguinarie, fanno parte del comune di Ajaccio,  panorama magnifico composto da 4 isole dal colore rosso scuro, sulla vetta dell’isola maggiore è ubicato il faro.

• Golfo del Valico, nella zona di Propriano, un susseguirsi di spiaggie di sabbia bianca con alle spalle un magnifico panorama montano. Alcune calette non sono accessibili in macchina e per raggiungerle bisogna affidarsi ad escursioni in barca. In questa zona gli sport acquatici,le immersioni, il canyoning vanno per la maggiore.

• Calanques de Piana, a 5km a sud di Porto, rappresentano una delle attrazioni più spettacolari dell’isola, e al contempo un luogo romantico, grazie alla presenza della roccia a forma di cuore che attrae moltissimi visitatori che si recano li per fotografarla.

La zona nord-est dell’isola da non perdere le località di :

• Santa Lucia di Moriani
• Aleria

E’ la zona più pianeggiante ,non presenta caratteristiche rilevanti, troverete spiaggie dai fondali bassi e  poco affollamento.

 

 

Al sud dell’isola:

• Porto vecchio: borgo di mare di origine genovese, la località turistica più frequentata dell’isola, cittadina vivace, caratteristica e chic. Vanta la presenza di tantissimi ristoranti e locali oltre bellissimi negozi e boutique.

• Bonifacio: metà imperdibile del vostro viaggio in Corsica, meravigliosa cittadella dai vicoli ripidi e stretti, costruita su 70 metri di altezza sulle falesie di pietra bianca modellata dal vento e dal mare. Domina le acque turchesi delle Bocche di Bonifacio. Da non perdere L’Escalier du Roi d’ Aragon, che con i suoi faticosi 187 gradini scende per 60 metri fino al mare, con un percorso meraviglioso. Da non perdere le magiche vedute dall’alto delle fortificazioni e dai punti più alti della cittadina.

Le spiaggie più belle spiaggie della corsica del sud:

• Porto Novo, spiaggia di sabbia, raggiungibile con un lungo sentiero a piedi, ideale per chi ama camminare in mezzo alla natura, o con 4×4. spiaggia tranquilla mare fantastico. presenza di barche.

• Maori Beach, nei pressi di bonifacio, spiaggia libera e privata caratterizzata da un fondale di sabbia rosso e mare dalle diverse sfumature.

• Petit sperone, vicino bonifacio, dovrete raggiungerla a piedi tramite un sentiero. Troverete di fronte a voi questa splendida piccola caletta di sabbia, dalla visione paradisiaca. Un angolo suggestivo con acqua verde e  fondale di sabbia. Nella spiaggia non c’è nulla quindi portatevi da bere e da mangiare.

• Gran sperone, più grande rispetto a petit sperone, raggiungibile a piedi tramite un percorso da petit speron.  Spiaggia di sabbia bianca, circondata da scogliere bianche, mare stupendo.

• Roccapina, ad ovest di Bonifacio. Troverete un percorso da raggiungere in macchina o in moto, un pò difficile ma fattibile. Una spiaggia selvaggia, con rocce ai lati, con un mare incredibilmente trasparente. Anche qui non ci sono strutture portatevi dietro tutto ciò di cui avete bisogno.

Non può mancare ovviamente nella lista il tour alle Isole lavezzi, con un breve e divertente percorso in traghetto potrete ammirare la splendida veduta di Bonifacio dal mare, passare attraverso le grotte, e raggiungere le meravigliose isole.
